The actress, who has featured in popular Hindi TV serials like Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Madhubala, has signed up for V K Prakash’s next film

V K Prakash’s next film will have TV actress Pallavi making her Mollywood debut.
The yet-to-be-titled project will see her playing Mammootty’s wife. A Mumbai-based Malayali, Pallavi is a known face to Hindi television viewers.
The actress says she feels the timing is just right for her entry to the big screen as she considers it auspicious to start something new during the festival season.

“I also feel honoured to share screen space with Mammootty in my debut movie. But I’m extremely nervous and I hope I’ll be able to give my best,” she says.
Pallavi is currently busy brushing up her Malayalam diction. “When I started my career in television, I was clueless about the language and my accent was funny. But today, I speak Hindi fluently and whoever listens to me thinks I’m from the north. I hope I’ll be able to pull off a brilliant start in Malayalam as well,” she says.Mammootty plays an advocate, who is all set to take charge as a High Court judge. “What his family goes through during his transition phase from a lawyer to a judge forms the plot,” says VKP.Anoop Menon teaming up with the director after Trivandrum Lodge. He plays a DySP here. The script is written by Y V Rajesh and music is by Ratheesh Vega.Pallavi is also busy with her Bollywood debut — Subhash Ghai’s Kaanchi — where she plays a prominent role. “Movies are my passion and I’m game for more projects in the south,” she signs off.
